Lidwien Ossewaarde
“I’ve never liked mass production. Why have something everyone else has?”
Lidwien, born in Amsterdam, has always had a passion for craftsmanship and design. She spent several years working as a lamp maker for a well-known Dutch furniture design studio, where she refined her skills and developed her love for lighting.
After that, she began adopting old, often overlooked lamps and transforming them into something entirely new. This process sparked a deeper ambition: to create her own designs from scratch.
Today, Lidwien creates unique, handmade lamps, each piece driven by experimentation, character, and a desire to stand apart from the ordinary.
